Besides a couple inconsistencies like why couldnt Madara just teleport back to where the nine tails was and get it back under his control? Also for someone who had been waiting for such a long time to control kyubi he gave up real easily.

But they pulled it off , I am happy how the 4th managed to deal with Madara even tho it wasnt a really serious fight. I mean I'd expect Madara to at least try and use genjutsu if he's somewhat serious but he didnt. Then again Minato probably had some kind of defense against genjutsu , I hope.

Also , tell me if I'm wrong but , at some point Kushina would have been able to seal the Kyubi back in her body long enough to let minato seal it into someone else ? So this way Yondaime would have stayed alive... but he prefered to sacrifice himself and Kushina just so they would be able to see their older son for 5 minutes? Doesnt seem like such a better alternative especially if the 4th is sealed within a demon with a demon, for eternity..

Why didn´t Madara simply move back and regain control? If it was that bloody easy to do the first thing Konoha would have done was to call for an Uchiha. At the very least after Minato broke Madara´s control that should have helped subdue the Kyubi. Other than that Madara just took a Rasengan, a Hiraishin marker was placed on his body and Minato obviously had a way to break his control...a way that likely can be performed several times. Also i´d say it was one thing to gain control of the Kyubi while it was still chained down by Kushina and struggling to get out and something entirely different to do so again after it´s out and unrestricted.

Two things that got my attention. Madara´s body appeared to be liquid. Seems like he did take a good deal of damage from the first Hokage after all. This does cast a new light on how he just disconnected his arm when Torune poisoned it with his bugs.

What got me really curious is that Kushina can obviously summon those chains in the real world. I had thought they were some sort of mental ability that was part of the sealing and gave her the ability to help Naruto. In fact the woman can apparently grow metal chains out of her body. Odd how despite being their son Naruto doesn´t really seem to have either of his parenty abilities. Sure he may have Rasengan but he doesn´t exactly use it the same way his father does.

As for why Madara didn´t try Genjutsu on Minato: several possibilities. 1. the mask makes it harder to see his eye i might imagine. 2. Being the HOKAGE you´d think Minato has at least a general idea of hos the Sharingan works...the Uchiha being one of Konoha´s clans and all. 3. the guy learned sealing to a degree where he can teleport himself, attacks and even a frickin BIJU around. Not too hard to imagine some sort of seal that simulates someone else pushin Chakra into you (either automatically or on command). Heck Danzo had a seal that immobilized an opponent and it could apparently be placed with a simple touch. 4. Who ever said Madara was all that good at Genjutsu to begin with? He could simply be a Ninjutsu type like Sasuke. The abilities he used so far certainly speak for him being more of a Ninjutsu Uchiha. Given that Sasuke subdued Manda with his plain Sharingan when he also wasn´t all that good a Genjutsu user i can´t recall anything actually hinting at any major Genjutsu skills in Madara.


About sealing Kyubi back into Kushina. Yeah they seem rather dumb about that. Sure the dialogue HINTS at her kicking the bucket any moment now but then again Madara expected her to die the moment the demon was ripped from her body (as is the general rule...though those are being screwed with every 3 minutes i think) but frankly what exactly kept them from sealing it back into her (why DO Jinchuriki die if they lose their demon? is the stress too much or do they all become addicted to the demons presence and need it to keep functioning?) and teleporting her to a frickin hospital? Given how a set of medic Ninja healed Neji and Choji after the retrieval mission (seriously they cast a *cough*spell*cough* Jutsu using Neji´s HAIR to just...fill the gaping hole in his shoulder with flesh and no scar at all) i don´t think stabilizing a Jinchuriki would have been all that hard. Maybe Minato is a masochist seeing how using that dead demon seal thingy is supposed to seal you away with what you seal in a hate filled, agonizing battle for the rest of time. Given that Naruto swore his first oath by ramming a Kunai into his hand and how Kushina has chains with spikes growing out of her skin (i imagine that has to hurt) maybe i´m not even too far off about that masochism business. Hey remember Naruto basicaly asking that Kumo-Kunoichi (Karui?) to beat him up? Hm.....

He didnt die for no reason @ vico. He died to seal half the fox into the demon seal because no one beside kushina can fully control the fox. So him dying was neccasary or else if kushina would have sealed the fox for a max of a couple years then it would just release again & attack the village. Seeing him for 5 minutes was just a plus as a mothers dying wish.

the future will be altered if minato sealed the kyuubi into kushina.
i) as per ERBaby mentioned, if kushina somehow survived his weak condition, madara will come again later and considering madara's cunning character, the kyuubi will emerge again. minato may have considered that possibility and dind't want to risk it.
ii) if kushina died and bringing kyuubi together with her... the 'balance' (i don't know what that is) will be affected. the story that we now read for about 8-9years will be changed. (i guess that's why even in naruto world there is no time travelling jutsu )

kishimoto seems to have his reasons for not showing the full capability of madara. i think he wants to save the best for the last. otherwise, he has to come up with a much more stronger villain. whatever it is, i hope madara better have a way to counter minato's thunder god 2 level 2 by now. if not I would be very dissapointed (but will still keep reading as usual).
