Character Nationality, What are the characters' nationalities? Options

It just occured to me, if the continents were shifted like Earth's are, then what nationality would the characters be? Of course, there are the obvious ones who are clearly Japanese like Feitan, Nobunaga, Hanzo, and Netero but how about the rest?

Here are some of my guesses:
Killua - American/Chinese
Gon - Pacific Asian
Kurapica - European (somwhere) maybe Czech
Leorio - Korean
Hisoka - Russian (don't ask why)
Pokkle - South American (somewhere there)
Satotz - French
Shizuku - Chinese
Chrollo - German
Shalnark - British
Phinx - Egyptian?

Those are some of my guesses, how about you guys?

in the spanish dub for some stupid reason they gave hisoka a french accent. now everbody thinks he is french, and the guy who attacked him with a spear during the exam seems more native american inspired imo.

I'm not that sure concerning about the color skin of an asian person but Gon does look like someone that comes from a white and black family. His skin sometimes look really brown as well as your Avatar is showing it Al x Den. Thefore if i had to guess i would say he's probably Indian.

Somehow i can feel that kurroro could be german because of his hair probably. Hisoka too i can see that he culd be Russian because Russians are really white and so does he.

I was thinking that Gon could be around the islands of Pacific Asia because of his family, the way he dresses, and how he's raised, plus the way he eats.

I was thinking Leorio as Korean because of his style and the fact that he wants to be a doctor, Asian thing
I don't think Kurapica's German, mabye Dutch or Flemmish, or even Swiss.
Killua seems more like New York or California American than Yankee American.

Could be, is it an island in the Pacific Ocean in Asia?

Anyone else have any suggestions on what nationality the others might be, or arguments on my choices?

Leorio...he seemed like an american to me.....a well dressed one tho
Pokkle...i thought European, but i guess Native american kinda makes sense

The Zaolyeck family seems either European, maybe British, or American considering their lifestyle. Maybe Silva's American, or British, and Kikyo's Japanese, well look at Kalluto. So the kids would be half and half, Illumi, Milluki, Alluka, and Kalluto getting more Japanese and Killua getting more American or British.

I was joking about Phinx, well half joking, considering his stupid get up. He has to be really proud to be Egyptian to wear that.

Kurapika - Swedish or Dutch
Kuroro - British or German
Leorio - American
Machi - Japanese
Gon - maybe from Hawaii or another island
Killua - American

Maybe Gon is from the Philippines...but Mito looks nothing like that and they're supposed to be kin. I don't get why a lot think Kuroro's German...please explain?

My first thought to Chrollo being German was his name, Chrollo Lucifer, which is the German name for the Devil, correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, the way he's dressed it's kind of German.

id definitely agree that leorios American just the first time i saw him ..dun know maybe his way of dressing classy suit and tie..but name wise no.
i would have said kurapicas american too u know blond and blue eyes *i think* but then no cuz the way he dresses is differnt ...dont know call me surfaced but seems that by the way some dress might give a hint as to where they are originally from..that is if they dress like where they're from

That's why I say that Kurapica's European, but as for Leorio, I think that Koreans and Japanese tend to dress up like that a lot. It the wanting to be a doctor that really makes me think Leorio's Korean, or Asian of some sort.
