Do not SPAM or FLOOD

Spam posts are posts that lack content. Typically they are short posts that are off-topic, irrelevant, stating the obvious, and posted without much thought or reading.

Flooding is when a member, or a few members, post a lot of posts rapidly. The posts end up being either spam, or parts of a conversation between two people that would have been better carried out in private.

If you find yourself in a ‘posting conversation’ with another member, you should take it to the Private Messenging system or our Live Chat feature.

Spam and flooding will be deleted from threads. Members found spamming or flooding will be warned. Refusal to stop after warnings will result in a BAN

Double-posting

Double-posting is when you post on a thread where you are already the latest poster. So there will be two consecutive posts from you on one thread.

Double-posting is not allowed. If you wish to say something, and you are already the last poster on a thread, please use the EDIT button to edit over your own posts.

Bumping up old threads

As a general rule...don't bump up old threads if:
- it's an old chapter discussion, raw or release thread
- the thread question is clearly resolved
- the topic discussed is no longer relevent now
This isn't a clear-cut rule, sometimes, old threads may be worth reviving. Please just be sensible about bumping up old threads.

Questions about downloading

Please do not ask questions about where to get manga/anime downloads, or make threads regarding downloads here.

All questions about downloads should go to the correct thread on our downloads board (anime questions, manga questions, general questions or anime music questions)

General questions

If you need to ask general questions, or are unsure of whether you should make a thread for a certain question, it is advised that you post on a relevant General questions/discussions thread, rather than making a new thread.

We have general questions/discussion threads for the following boards:

• Naruto
• Hunter x Hunter
• One Piece
• General anime/manga chat

NexGear board guidelines are here. This includes the maximum sizes for avatars and signatures, and the accepted behaviour when posting on NexGear.

“I haven’t read the rules” is not a good excuse.

Threads Not To Make

1. A thread asking a question that doesn't require discussion.
   such as "What manga chapter did the anime stop at". General Questions thread.
2. Threads asking to explain things which were stated in the anime/manga.
   General questions thread.
3. Chapter discussion threads.
   Discussion of a chapter belongs in that official chapter thread, or the raw thread.
4. Threads designed to tell people off, or to explain information.
   Such as threads "Karuto is Male" or "Ging is not god". It's useless.
5. A thread that is not related to HxH, the anime, or the manga, or the author.
   Specifically threads about fellow posters or members of the forum, even if it's related to the HxH forum.
6. A thread asking for downloads or downloads related information.
   This includes threads about playing files and such.
7. Threads about taboo topics
   (yaoi/yuri, hentai, or anything against the Nexgear rules).
8. Threads about something that will be answered in the manga SOON.
   For example, a thread asking about something that will be revealed next chapter.
9. Threads about things which cannot be discussed due to lack of information.
   For example, if you want to discuss a possible fight, where both characters have not shown any powers or anything you can talk about.
